Ghost of Christmas Past

It felt a little like deja vu ~ snow falling the week before the kids' Christmas Break. We haven't gotten anything close to what we experienced last year when the kids ended up with an early start to their winter vacation. But the 2-hour "icy dusting" delay today was a little too close for comfort.

Isaiah walked outside in snow all by himself for the first time yesterday. Aaaaand he didn't really like it. He found it safer to drag me around by the hand to explore his own miniature Winter Wonderland.

He loved looking up at the snow coming down--even as the flakes landed on his face.

Gosh I love my Snowflakes.

I cannot even begin to tell you how proud I am of you. Your strength and determination hugely responsible for Isaiah and the girls' strength and determination.

Every time I see pics of your babies and how happy they are, it fills up my heart. You have used all that God has given you and He MUST be pleased.

Yours is a blessed family and I am checking your blog often as I wait for James' arrival. It feels like I'm there, in Seattle peeking out the window, waiting for James to come home. I have a yellow ribbon tied around my heart.

Much love to you all & BIG hugs all around.

Looks like you're loving that new camera ;) (I bought one for my husband for fathers day- then stole it!) I can see (or maybe feel?) Isaiah's smile in the one where his back is to us.
Love reading your blog! Love your pics & stories of your kids- their personalities and smiles are contagious!
When is James coming home? Thanks for your family's service!
